Robi Axiata Limited and ONE Bank jointly launched OK Banking services for the users of the robi mobile phone on Monday, November 23, 2015.

Mobile Balance top up can be done through OK

ONE Bank Limited has launched ‘Buy Airtime’ service through its mobile banking platform OK Banking. This service enables OK Banking customers to top up mobile balance of Grameenphone numbers through OK. This service shall be incorporated with other mobile operators gradually.

Any individual OK Banking customer can recharge his/her own or someone else’s Grameenphone prepaid and postpaid connection through this service. The OK Banking customer need to dial *269# to access the OK Banking menu, then select ‘2’ for the ‘Buy Airtime’ option and then follow the simple interactive steps.

No additional charge is applicable for buying airtime through OK; opening of OK Banking account is also absolutely free of cost. Any individual having a valid national ID card/passport or driving license can open OK Banking account from ONE Bank nominated agent points across the country.

Robi sign agreement to facilitate ONE Bank’s OK mobile banking

Robi Axiata Limited, the fastest growing mobile operator in Bangladesh, signed an agreement with ONE Bank Limited to facilitate Mobile Financial Services.

Robi Managing Director & CEO, Supun Weerasinghe, and ONE Bank Ltd. Managing Director, M Fakhrul Alam, inked the agreement today at the Robi Corporate Office in Gulshan.

Under the terms of the agreement, Robi will act as a facilitator for distribution network & Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) provision for ONE Bank Mobile Financial (OK Banking) Services, which will be launched very soon in Robi network.

OK was launched on 5th September 2013 with the aim to provide banking services for the under-banked and unbanked population of Bangladesh. ONE Bank serves its nation-wide valuable clients through more than 5,000 ONE Bank own agent points and another 15000 partner pay-points. The customer can get OK Service from all the branches of ONE Bank Ltd and OK accredited Pay points, and other mobile phone outlets.

Launching ceremony of OK Banking service

This service launch will enable customer to register with ONE Banks OK Banking and avail mobile financial services using their mobile phone, from anywhere in Bangladesh.

This arrangement will enable ONE Bank to offer their mobile financial services to active mobile phone user and execute financial transaction services like money transfer and payments via customer mobile phone.

Citycell signed agreement with ONE Bank Limited

Citycell recently signed an agreement with One Bank Limited for mobile banking service. Under this agreement, Citycell will act as a facilitator of mobile connectivity and distribution network for One Bank mobile banking service. The signing of mobile banking agreement is a milestone in the area of mobile financial services. The signing ceremony was held at Citycell Head Office, Mohakhali, Dhaka. Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of Citycell and Mr. Farman R. Chowdhury, Managing Director of One Bank Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
